| This picture shows Evelyn and Mieke, who were participating in the parade of the yearly "Bear Feasts". This event is named after the family De Beer (The Bear in English) who used to live in our castle.
The Bear feasts (or Berefeesten in Dutch) take place every year in the first weekend of July. It includes a parade, performances of local and Belgian artists, a barbecue and a giant firework to close the feasts. |
