Barcelona and Catalunya

18 January 2001 till 30 April 2001

From 22 January until 30 April 2001, I lived in Barcelona, Spain. I was there for a teaching practice. For 3 months, I taught English to Spanish high school students. I shared a flat with two other students from my teacher training college: Mieke and Liesbeth.

This was of course not a real holiday. It was better than a holiday! For the first time in my life (and hopefully not the last) I was able to spend a few months in a foreign country, getting to know the culture, learning the language and making lots of new friends. I have taken tons of pictures, of which you can now watch a "best of series".

I would like to thank Mieke and Liesbeth for the great three months we spent together. I would also like to thank the teachers and students at the Escola Betània-Patmos where we worked. And last but not least, I want to say hi to all the wonderful people from all over the world that we met in Barcelona! Gracias, amigos y hasta luego!
